Dr. Grace Pepple has B.Sc and M.SC degrees in Marketing, and a PhD degree in Business

Management. She has enormous interest in fair trade and globalization, and continuously

draws public attention to the enduring fact that “Africa has 13 percent of the world’s

population, less than 1.6 percent of global trade, and less than 1 percent of global

investment” (CIDA, 2004:1). She is an environmental activist and catalyst of women

entrepreneurships in Cross River State of Nigeria. Dr. Pepple is a passionate advocate of

gender equality in all that environmental stakeholders can do to lift Africa out of poverty,

adverse climate change impacts, biodiversity decline, and ecologically unsustainable

development. She joined the AERF Board of Trustees in 2018.
